About me

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering in 2020. While I was an undergraduate, I was a Trumpet Rank Leader in the Michigan Marching Band, a brother of Alpha Kappa Psi professional fraternity, and took courses in VLSI, Semiconductors and Philosophy. Over the summers, I did an internship with DTE Energy, 2 internships with Texas Instruments, and a design program with Google. At TI, I worked a summer in market strategy for comparators, driving sales and identifying new sockets in Solar Energy. Last summer, I worked in ASIC verification, on an image decompression project.

Upon graduating, I was awarded the Roger M Jones Fellowship to study in Europe, which I chose to delay a year due to Covid. In 2021-2022, I'm going to the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to study for a Masters in Philosophy of Science. I plan to conduct research into the applied ethics of AI and ML, which has recently gathered much attention. In the meantime, I'm getting an accelerated Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from Michigan, graduating in 2021. I’d be happy to share a resume to anyone who contacts me.

I hope to have a career in Computer Vision or Machine Learning, with a focus on ethical system design. With my background in digital circuit design, I think I’d be a good fit to work with ML accelerators or ASIC designers. I'm looking for work for the summer of 2021 and willing to relocate anywhere (so long as the work is cool).

Outside the classroom, I like to be outside. I’m an avid fan of downhill skiing, rock climbing and golfing; I also trail run, flyfish, backpack and paddle. Also, I collect vinyl and speaker equipment.
